The reason more people are not millionaires or multi-millionaires is not because they do not make enough money. In my opinion, there are three main reasons: 1.) It is because they spend too much of the money they make on depreciating assets.
2.) It is because they try to invest without a strategy for protection.
3.) It is because they pay far too much in taxes.

The Strategic Wealth Advisor’s® client base is typically made up of individuals 45 and over who have worked as business professionals, medical professionals, dental professionals, veterinarians, nurses, and small to midsize business owners who have investment portfolios and are concerned about future income.
Nancy has a passion for helping people and loves what she does. She takes the time to get to know each client personally, so working with every client is like working with a family member.
“When I meet with a new person, the first thing I want to do is to get to know them. How many children and grandchildren do you have, and where do they live? What are the positive thoughts that can take you out of a negative mood? What are your hobbies? Do you have any major health issues? Do you like to travel and visit new places? I want you to think about your future income. What is important about money to you?”

One of Nancy’s favorite expressions is K.I.S.S: “Keep it Simple, Sweetie.” Because cooking is a hobby she enjoys, she uses the analogy of breaking down the financial planning process step-by-step, as one does with a recipe, so that it is not overwhelming. “When I begin working with a new client, I personally review the portfolio they come in with and review their goals. What is the money for? Do you need income, growth, legacy savings, or health care?” At a later meeting, we have a review session where we look at how the roadmap we’ve created to help you navigate your financial journey is working. If necessary, we adjust, including behavior coaching to cultivate more sophisticated money management habits. This helps people develop a new and much more rewarding mindset about money and their future.”
“Together, we develop a recipe for their financial future,” she says. “We focus on future income and financial health. Once we get the basic financial recipe in place with provisions for unexpected risks, we can always tweak it and spice it up or tone it down, depending on what works for that person.”
Nancy explains that most people who are approaching retirement or are in retirement may need to plan for what she calls an “encore” career. “I coach them to develop a hobby they love that can keep them mentally and physically active and earn some additional spending money.”
“It is just as important for people to have a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) as it is for them to have a medical professional,” adds Hite. “In this way, they can have a coach for their financial health and a coach for their medical health to help increase the likelihood that they will have a high quality of life in the future years.”
